Mallory Paige

Mallory Paige grew up in wild Colorado and naturally developed an inquisitive spirit. She received a Bachelor of Food Science degree in Restaurant and Resort Management from Colorado State University, which prepared her to think analytically, work creatively, and carefully in testing environments. She has extensive experience in the food industry, including working as a professional cake decorator. These experiences deepened her appreciation for finding the best kitchen equipment. From there, Mallory launched a very successful home chef and catering business. Through this experience, she was able to get hands-on experience cooking in a variety of home environments.

With a verve for learning, she began a self-taught path into website building, tech, and in-depth review writing. After living in Seattle and San Diego, she moved to Bend, Oregon, and deepened her passion for writing and being outdoors. This juncture led to a great adventure, spending 400 days motorcycle camping across North America (with her dog in a sidecar!). Through it all, Mallory continued to build a successful journalism career. She has an equal passion for analytically finding the best gear on the market and writing about it in a way that truly helps others. She has lent her tech, leisure, travel, home, and kitchen gear expertise to numerous publications, including Forbes, Alaska Magazine, Yahoo, MyGolfSpy, and Betty Crocker.

When she's not busy testing the latest home and kitchen gear, she can dig in the garden with her farmer husband at their off-grid homestead in Westcliffe, Colorado, or chase around her three rambunctious kids.
