Hannah Marshall

Hannah builds her career around her passions, and she has many: avalanche educator, non-profit program manager, artist, and guide. Much of Hannah's work relies on her ability to think critically in dynamic, often hazardous, environments. It is in this space of creative inquiry where she thrives, and she cultivates this mentality in her product reviews.

Hannah also holds a B.A. in geology from Colorado College. Her scientific background allows her to bring attention to detail in all that she does; from crafting ways to teach high school students about environmental policy to carefully scrutinizing exactly how many pairs of skis she and her partner can fit into their one-room cabin. Hannah's lifestyle means that she only has space for the best gear, and she analyzes everything from sheet pans to phone chargers with precision.

When Hannah is not testing gear, she loves all manners of recreation in the mountains, painting, gardening, and sharing meals with friends in her chosen home of Bozeman, Montana.
